Sunburn 101
Believe me, I get it! The beach is for fun and sun, and sometimes the latter can get the best of us and our skin. That's why we're breaking down everything you need to know to care for your compromised skin if your sun kiss turns into a burn.

COVER UP: First things first, we highly encourage covering up if you plan to spend the day in the sun. Throw on your favorite accessories- hats, shades, tunics, you name it- in conjunction with non-nano zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide based sunblock. You should also reapply every two hours. Don't forget to protect your lips too!
STAY AWAY: If you're feeling the burn, one of the worst things you can do is expose the burned area to the sun. Keep those accessories from the last tip on hand or hang in the shade until the redness fades and the skin has time to heal.
SPRITZ: If relief is what you're seeking, look no further. There are plenty of natural methods and essential oils to cool skin and reduce inflammation, which is why we combined them into one soothing tonic. HYDRATE: Drink plenty of water. Your skin is dry and dehydrated, and replacing lost body fluids will aid in the healing process.
